On Tuesday June 15, 2021 the Crazy Girls bust which has lived at Planet Hollywood since 2015 was removed with an uncertain future. The show was cancelled earlier this year and its future is uncertain although the Crazy Girls have said they will be back.
The #CrazyGirls show and bust became famous at the Riviera Hotel & Casino on the north end of the #Vegas #Strip. At Riviera it used to sit on the Strip outside the hotel while at Planet Hollywood it lived on the casino floor. I witnessed both removals and in this video you’ll see the historic removal at Planet Hollywood and also a throwback to its removal at Riviera in 2015. Enjoy!

The Crazy Girls were always one of those things that screamed "Vegas" to me.
I got to see the show when it was at the Riviera
Thanks for documenting another episode of LV history.
Shawn, if I were in Vegas and this happened I would have been there. I am all about the iconic. And that pedestrian bridge stairway, disgusting. Went down it once… that was enough.
Even 20 of the best cleaners with the best cleaning equipment couldn’t clean that stairwell ! 😂 🤮
I’m glad I slapped the bum before they went. 😂🇬🇧
Aw man I never got the chance to spank those buns… But then again that's the story of my life 🤣
I guess I'll just get my good luck precariously through you Shawn👍🙏🤣
I have a picture of my husband rubbing the crazy girls for good luck. He is no longer with us but it's great to have these wonderful memories of us in our happy place. Thanks so much for sharing this piece of Vegas history.
Great video, Thanks!
That was pretty cool to watch Shawn! Thank you for sharing. Like you said, hopefully they will be able to perform somewhere else. BUTT, until then, to storage they will go 😊(Ha! Did you see what I did there?)
They made those butts in 1997.
Similar to the dismantling of the Kahiki in Columbus.
Shawn
Please call Mark and check on him please Not sure if he can handle this one alone. Lmao.
👍👍👍👍👍☝️☝️☝️☝️
I don’t understand why they couldn’t just leave it there it didn’t seem like it was in the way or bothering anyone. It’s piece of memorabilia just like that PF Chang statue outside P.F. Chang..
LOL…Only in Vegas 😆 A huge crowd came out to watch too! 😛
More like Bum removal than Bust. The other side is scary like the Scream Munch painting. I hope the show finds a new home. I’m surprised they had to remove it from the front door. So there’s no large door in the back side?
I never watched the show though. Bring back Britney Spears to Planet Hollywood. I wonder if Hard Rock will buy the place.
Nice
even the forklift has zappos advertising on the side
Buns of steel
Thank you for documenting this. On the one hand the statue is kind of silly but on the other hand it was one of the most photographed things in Vegas and an important part of Vegas history.
No one involved with the removal knows where it's ultimately headed? I'm gonna predict they end up at The Rio with whatever new theme and branding they do there.
Crazy Girls was the first show I saw in LV at the Riviera. Ah , yes. I remember it well.
Appreciated you filiming ….one of my favourite shows!
I found this oddly touching. Only in Vegas, for sure.
Saw the show at the Riviera!
Just got to my new home in FL and first thing I did was watch this. 👍
I saw them close the strip to shoot the last Bourne movie. Very memorable.
Favorite part of his day… was making sure all the bumms are clean… he's sad now..
It would be interesting to know what that cost to produce……And what it’s value is now. Great video. Thanks!
5:15 wipe hips…funny:)
Classic video / we were hoping to take pics of them at Planet H when we visit in the Fall
OH NO!!!…..The girls are hollow!….There is nothing inside them.
Vegas is becoming more and more corporate bland everyday. Vegas is losing all of its spice.
I remember rubbing those butts years ago in front of the Riviera.. sad to see them go!
Thanks for keeping a bit of Vegas past alive. It really is the best part of the experience. As always a great video.
Saw them a couple of times at the Riviera.
Another great video of iconic Las Vegas history. Thank you for sharing this.
Great video Shawn. I remember the Crazy Girls from the Riviera back in the day. It was a fun show. Keep up the historical videos Good see the things that made Vegas, Vegas!
Thank you for taking the time and all of the maneuvering to make this video.
Another piece of Classic Vegas gone. It’s so sad. Thanks for doing this Video.
So sad, was an icon
Your videos are alway interesting and informative. I’ve always been happy that I’m a subscriber
I would have hated to be that forklift driver😳but glad to be the (did you say , enterprise ?) driver
