We discuss the history of Vegas Strip side shows, take a look at the cool Merlin show Excalibur once had and predict how Hard Rock’s will compare to the current volcano. Shawn also discusses what the Guitar Hotel show is like in Florida and how the Strip’s version may be better.

When it comes to sports, there are also rumors that MLS will announce they are expanding soon (in the next few years) to Vegas & San Diego, which could put the future of the Lights in danger, especially if MLS decides not to promote them up from USL and goes with an entirely new ownership group. If MLS does go to Vegas, it will likely be one of the most popular destinations for away fans, though the long term fan support for a Vegas MLS team is something to be questioned especially if Lights fans decide not to follow the new team or decide not to support the Lights if they join MLS. Vegas is a soccer town, though most of the fandom is with the Premier League & Mexican League clubs as I saw a lot of those jerseys during my Vegas trip a few months ago.
Great Vlog as always but I'm curious Shawn, do you travel for a living? You're always on a cruise or at a resort. Possibly a critic for a travel magazine 🙂

Someone was shot and killed in that Hard casino only a few days ago. 2 guys got in an argument and one guy shot and walked out like it was no big deal. Security did nothing about it right in the casino. What is wrong with people?

It is sad that real estate speculators worldwide will let buildings sit instead of keeping buildings open and kept up. This a lot of the times leaves a bad stigma to the neighborhood where the building is located.

i think going to henderson would be a big mistake for the aces. i think there are a lot more tourists at those games than people realize.

Warren Buffet has said the only reason he invests in electric windmills is for the tax write off scam.

I'm not anti-Guitar Tower at Mirage… I'm just sad to lose that open space, setback from the street. Walking the Strip in that area, right at the dogleg in LVB… I think it's going to really feel overwhelmingly crowded
Re: MSG Sphere or guitar… for me, that will depend on what light show MSG has externally. The early renderings were very cool images… but later renderings suggest simplified light show elements. And we know it's over budget.
Move the volcano to Mandalay Bay, give people a reason to go that far south on the strip
FYI the Sparks Nugget was just sold to a Europe-based company. Their first Nevada property…and the purchase approved by the NV Board. It was last bought in 2016 by a California company, and before that it was still owned by John Ascugua's family. (he started it in the 1950's)
3:36 I saw Adele's entire Vegas Residency show on YouTube for FREE!! Someone compiled video footage of the whole thing and posted it online. And it wasn't even that impressive of a show to warrant going in person, let alone the price tag. So, there's absolutely no reason for me to spend a ridiculous amount of money on that.
I worry about the long term viability of the MSG Sphere. 3+ Billion in construction costs and I'm willing to bet the upkeep will be high as well.
This was a great video. It’s always so informative, but you know what I would like to see I would like to see them build is an old Timey casino. Something that we have never seen before that brings in nostalgia. I would love to see that but however, I don’t think they will never do that because they want everything flashy and glitzy. But I truly cannot wait until the new guitar get built for the Hardrock!!! It’s Looks Amazing

Greeting guys ! The Guitar light show at the Hollywood Fl location is really cool. I’m a local so I have seen it several times. Crazy all the sports coming to LV. I only watch badminton but doubt Tom Brady or Lebron would invest . Ok just kidding on that. Mark I agree I do like Golden Nugget . The one in Biloxi is a pretty nice property as well. Great info gentlemen…always a fun video 😎😎😎
