The Guitar Hotel is now approved for Hard Rock Las Vegas. It will be built on the land housing Mirage’s volcano. Are you excited for this to come to #Vegas #Strip?

Underwhelming
The spotlights on top are pretty cool. Ironically it’s better to stay in adjacent hotels so you can see it. Kindve defeats the purpose of it being a hotel.
Hopefully, the Vegas one will be better… the rooms will have a great strip view.
I've seen the pictures of the proposed placement it doesn't look right it's like we have no where else to put it we'll just plop it down here. Plus it's going to block the strip view from some hotel rooms.
I still think the flames from the volcano show would help with the rock theme

Its so cheesy. Even for las vegas . It's an idea for yesteryear .
Doesn't match the main building. It's too close to the sidewalk. Too big . Where do you enter? Is there a check in from the sidewalk? Might work better as the signage

Hard Rock in Hollywood Florida is beautiful. Casino & restaurants are phenomenal. Can’t wait until Vegas has the same.😊
Nice but the Mirage Volcano is more iconic, and it means more to the Las Vegas locals. The guitar should have been a part of Hard Rocks old campus- where the Virgin Hotel sits now.

I like it. I bet you are right that the technology of the Vegas tower will be much better than this one not only because of advancements but because they will go all out knowing they are eliminating the iconic volcano.
Can't wait to stay in the guitar. To the whiners in the comments, Vegas re-invents itself. It's what Vegas does.
Very cool. This will make people forget about the volcano show! TBH, I was never impressed by it.
Indian tribe moving in the Vegas watch out they are going to make some big moves and shine on these other hotels you watch. Here in Tampa when the hard rock does a remodel they don’t back down they will embarrass other casinos.

I played in the casino in Tampa and a good time. I wonder if they bring the buffet back to life.
A part of me wants to see them keep the Atrium and the fish tank at the registration deck as an homage to Mirage, and a digital video of the volcano on a monitor on a loop.
